I’m thrilled to announce that Spirit of Summerwood won the 2023 Winnie Literary Award for Young Adult Fiction at the international Equus Film & Arts Festival in New Mexico, USA! A big thank-you to the organizers of this wonderful annual festival celebrating the horse in books and films. And congratulations to all the talented authors and filmmakers from around the world who participated. I’m honored to be in their company.
In other news, I’m almost finished a draft of my next book , a young adult adventure/romance novel featuring the little-known wild horses of Alberta’s Rocky Mountain foothills. I’m excited about this one! Stay tuned for more updates, and thanks as always for visiting!
